Yes, life always throws me for a loop.

And I was really looking forward to using that 500 GiB hard disk. Ah well, at least NewEgg has a reall good RMA policy that, unless fate has other plans, will allow me to have a replacement disk in only about a week.

Still, 500 GiB! I have all sorts of plans for it. One tiny problem I have is that my machine has only two SATA channels, both of which are occupied, one by my new DVD-RAM drive, and another by my 120 GiB hard disk. Now, I suppose I could shell out $20 to $40 for a SATA riser. I could just toss out that 120 GiB hard disk (!!!) for free, though. But... I really don't like that idea.

So now I have to decide. Do I want that riser? Yes. Yes I do. But should I actually get it... not sure if I even have enough money right now. Perhaps after I get my next allowance for November.

Anyway, it seems my grandpa (step-grandpa?) is dying in the hospital, and my parents and niece are going to Arizona to see him and the like. I'll miss Bill.

Edit: I forgot to mention. Those of you who actually read this blog (Two of you, optimistically.) are no doubt noticing that I'm rapidly approaching 200 screenshots. I figure I should do a very special theme for it. But I have no idea what. Leave me a comment on ideas you might like to see.
