Huzzah, Intrepid Ibex is here! Be sure to download it. I intend to upload to ISO so that you won't have to put up with downloading from the main servers or update through apt... or, Programmer help us, a torrent.

My impressions of it are initially strong. I haven't finished configuring it, yet. As of this writing I'm spending about two hours downloading gstreamer and things merely because the repositories are absolutely choked right now.

This is typical of a distribution upgrade. Be patient and you'll be well rewarded.

Ibex sports a new theme, but it seems it is not enabled by default. Not that I plan to stick with either since I'm big on theming as the gallery clearly indicates. 187 screenshots! Holy crap I have no life.
